Sales Advisor & Transport Co-Ordinator

Kelvedon near Colchester, Essex 
Full time, Permanent
£28,000 - £30,000 + commission - Depending on experience.
Potential OTE of £60,000

We are seeking a Customer Sales Advisor & Transport Co-Ordinator to join our friendly growing team.
 

The ideal candidate will be a confident, dynamic person that is target driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will also need to have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a close, friendly team in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

- Working alongside the COO and assisting with all day-to-day duties. 

Actively account manage all existing commercial fuel customers

Obtain pricing from fuel suppliers in order to successfully quote customers

Enter and update all relevant customer account details onto database

Enhance profitability by cross-selling additional products and services

- Analysing customer credit reports in order to increase volume and when opening new accounts

- Co-ordinating, scheduling the daily fuel deliveries, liaising with drivers and liaising with transport maintenance companies

- Compile spreadsheets to indicate KPI’s in preparation for sales meetings

- Produce daily activity reports for management

Assist and contribute to e-marketing campaigns

- Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss and review commercial strategy and performance

Skills required

Previous experience in sales and proven ability to create new business and sales opportunities

-​ Strong under pressure

- Good IT Skills including Microsoft and Outlook

- A drive and passion for achieving targets

- Good communication skills

- Outgoing, ambitious and enthusiastic

- Previous experience in transport would be an advantage

Additional pay
Excellent commission structure

Working hours
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Transport

- Due to the location of the office, a full driving licence and your own transport is preferred. 

- Kelevdon Train station 1.3 miles away from office (approx. 25 min walk)

- Bus options available (approx. 12 min walk from High street stop)
