Due to continued growth, we are looking for a driven and results-focused New Business Developer to join our expanding sales team. This role will play a key part in generating new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively generate new leads and convert them into active customer accounts

Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to introduce Ukay Energy’s services

Identify and follow up on new business opportunities, arranging meetings with potential clients

Analyse potential customers’ fuel usage and carry out fuel bill analysis to present competitive proposals

Send introduction emails, proposals, and supporting documentation to prospective clients

Conduct credit checks using internal systems

Accurately input and maintain customer information within the company’s bespoke CRM system

Produce reports to track sales activity and pipeline progress

Present monthly sales results and performance updates to management

Carry out general administrative duties related to sales activity

Support the wider sales team and fulfil additional duties as required by management
Requirements
-
Previous experience within the fuel industry is preferred

Proven track record in sales and generating new business opportunities

Confident in cold calling and prospecting new clients

Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Highly motivated, ambitious, and enthusiastic with a strong drive to achieve targets
Additional Information

Office-based role in newly refurbished offices in Colchester
-
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Generous basic salary of £38,000 - £45,000per annum (DOE)

Uncapped commission structure with strong earning potential

Due to the location, own transport is required
