We are seeking a New Business Developer & Sales Negotiator to join our friendly growing team.
 

The ideal candidate will be a confident, dynamic person that is target driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will also need to have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a close, friendly team in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

- To manage and develop new business for the commercial and domestic departments and all other fuel related products. 

Research and target dedicated commercial prospect lists. 

Conduct credit checks using internal systems. 

- Email potential customers with introduction letter/proposals, account application packs, terms & conditions, prices, and any         other information required to complete application process. 

Up sell all other products and companies within the Ukay Group. 

Request up to date financial accounts as required for the credit department. 

Account manage all new customers to ensure volume and margin is maintained. 

Input and update all relevant data onto the company bespoke computer systems. 

Produce weekly and monthly target progress reports. 

Work alongside Marketing to design campaigns to send out to current database and potential new business. 

- Advertising - Contact local publications and collate rates, circulation stats and publication dates. Produce copy for publications   by deadlines. To promote the Ukay group of companies. 

Assist the sales team with quoting current customers and entering orders into the bespoke database. 

Any other duties requested by Senior Management the board of directors. 

Assisting with scheduling of deliveries.

Skills required

- Excellent communication skills

Previous experience in sales and proven ability to create new business and sales opportunities

-​ Strong under pressure

- Good IT Skills including Microsoft and Outlook

- A drive and passion for achieving targets

- A polite and friendly manner

- Good attention to detail

- Previous experience in transport would be an advantage

Additional pay
Excellent commission structure

Working hours
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Transport

- Due to the location of the office, a full driving licence and your own transport is preferred. 

- Kelevdon Train station 1.3 miles away from office (approx. 25 min walk)

- Bus options available (approx. 12 min walk from High street stop)
